Prior to joining Britannica, Karthik spent over a decade at RELX in various business leadership roles, driving business and cultural transformations and accelerating growth. In his last role, as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Global Clinical Reference business, he launched products that won coveted industry recognition, including Best in KLAS and Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation awards.
Karthik has an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business. He received the distinction Stern Scholar and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. He has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology and won the Student of the Year and Best Outgoing Student awards. He also earned a certificate in Design Thinking (Human Centered Design) from Stanford University. He is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) governance fellow.
Yitzhak Gat is a Brigadier General (reserve) in the Israeli Air Force, and former chairman of the Raphael Company for advanced combat systems.
At the end of 1999, he was appointed CEO of Poalim Telecommunications Company, during which time it was issued on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and at the same time served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the subsidiary, Shiron Satellite Communications. In November 2003, he was appointed Vice President of the Etgar Venture Capital Fund and in May 2005 was appointed Managing Director of the Israel Corporation.
Yitzhak is a graduate of the Technion’s Aeronautical Engineering and holds a Master’s in Information Systems Management. He has also served as a member of the Technion’s Executive Committee and the Alumni Association Chairman.

Avi has over 35 years of experience in technology-based training and learning management solutions. He possesses vast knowledge in the military and homeland security segments.
Avi previously served as the officer in charge of security at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, Managing Director of a training systems company for the aviation security market, and Head of Training Development at the Center for Educational Technologies (CET).
Avi has an MA in Labor and HR Development, and a BA in Political Science and International Relations.
