As a part of our growth strategy, we’d like to expand our product beyond the Civil Aviation and the Defense markets and turn it to become a leading SaaS platform for many more potential markets and organizations.
In order to achieve such challenging goals, while serving existing customers, we are re-architecting our product and codebase as we move, using cutting-edge technologies and tools, and literally replacing our engine while driving and developing new features.
We are looking for a super talented and exceptional R&D manager, who gets excited by complex challenges, has a very good system view and business understanding, and the ability to lead cost-effective architectural decisions, in order to lead our R&D strategy for penetrating such new markets, based on our existing product, while expanding our product’s capabilities.
You will work with the product team and market researchers, as well as with the rest of the R&D teams, to define and lead the product’s expansion needed, and the way to achieve that.
You will lead a core team that will support you in running experiments, POCs, and building the product additional layers that would be identified as critical to enter these addental markets.
3+ years experience as an R&D Manager (Leading Team Leaders) in a preferable SaaS / B2B2C business environment. (Overall 10+ years’ experience)
Proven track record of leading the execution of successful product / product features, from ideation to production phase (while creating a value of a few million $$ in revenue)
Strategic view on product development process, understand well the overall view while being able to get into small details.
Great communication & Collaboration skills – verbally and in writing documents
Independent true leader
Hands-on – being able to lead direct developers as well as Team Leaders
