We are looking for a super talented professional with significant experience as a PMO in a large scale technology delivery program. You understand complex projects involving hundreds of people. You know how to coordinate all activities, and lead projects to success. A PMO who provides a formal, centralized layer of project control and integration in the program management and serves as a trusted advisor to the program manager. The PMO assumes both execution responsibilities of specific project management areas, as well as project and program management governance support responsibilities.
You are willing to travel to the US for one week a month or willing to relocate to US if needed
Responsible for building and tracking holistic (E2E) program/project plan, covering all aspects of the program including customer and internal plans.
Ensure that the program is planned correctly, that the owner of each deliverable is identified correctly, and that work is executed and aligned with the program objectives to meet the planned deliverables.
Responsible for providing an integrative view and analysis of the various project aspects within the program to enable better decision making. Ensure that information is gathered and disseminated to all stakeholders / management.
Track and highlight trends and raise areas of concern regarding deviations from project and program plans.
Support program and project governance - perform project audits / reviews and extract lessons-learned.
Prepare risk management reports and statuses, perform reviews of various project activities to identify and highlight risks and develop appropriate contingencies.
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, economics or equivalent.
8 years of work experience including 2 years as a PMO of an international multi- project program in either a software / IT / Telco setting or a strategy implementation setting.
Experience working with project methodology and management, PMO processes (e.g. scheduling, budget management).
Understanding of software development lifecycles.
Work in a team environment and communicate with various levels – excellent communications skills are a must as you will deal with a range of characters, including very senior staff.
Ability to embrace change and take ownership of your own work.
Experience in government projects.
Experience working with a large international system integrator.
