Current Positions

Controller

Britannica Knowledge Systems, located in Tel Aviv, (near Azrieli) is looking for an experienced Controller to be part of our Finance department.

In this role, you will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and budget and forecast preparation.

Responsibilities:
• Write and disseminate internal financial reports to the company’s management
• Develop and disseminate monthly financial reports for our parent company abroad
• Work with our auditors on tax reports and financial statements to comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Monitor and control cash flow and expenses
• Supervise payment collection activity and account management
• Manage the team's payroll accountant and bookkeeper
• Participate in ad-hoc financial projects
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Support month-end and year-end close process

Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Accounting
• Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel (ICPAI) designation – Required
• Proven work experience as a Financial Controller or senior accountant
• Experience at a Big Four accounting firm
• Previous accountant position at a global high-tech company
• High-level English – Required
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• SAP – B1 software knowledge – an advantage

Product Manager

We are currently seeking to expand our product management team, and are looking for a talented Product Manager who truly loves PM work.

Responsibilities:

  • As an excellent BKS product manager, you will work closely with the R&D team, UX team, Solution Managers, Support team, Sales, Marketing and customers to provide a successful product
  • You will travel to customer sites (10-30% of the time), meet customers, learn about their needs, and translate them into crystal clear specs
  • You will define the user stories and acceptance criteria, design the UX, prioritize the features, and work with the Agile teams to provide the best solutions for our customers
  • You will guide QA to ensure product quality
  • You will make inbound and outbound presentations, presenting your product to other departments as well as customers

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of B2B product management experience from an internet company, ERP or CRM (Agile environment). A product with many users and a variety of user types
  • Solid knowledge of internet and mobile technologies
  • Understand how things work, at the deepest levels, in software design, data structures, APIs and others
  • Experience delivering specs and user stories for Agile teams (development and QA) with prioritized features – must
  • Experience delivering web UX design (as wireframes) – must
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adjust to changing requirements driven by a fast-moving market
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Team-player, self-managed and fast-learner
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, such as R&D, UX team, Solution Managers, Support, PS, Sales and Marketing

Full Stack Developer

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of hands-on work experience in full lifecycle Web development, with in-depth experience in software development using C# and TypeScript (NodeJS)

QA Engineer

Britannica seeks a talented QA engineer to join our team in planning new test procedures for existing functionality as well as for new features and freshly developed products. Tests are implemented both manually and automatically.

The candidate will be part of QA team, and will work closely with the development team throughout the entire development lifecycle: beginning with feature spec, through technical design, unit test and end-to-end QA tests (manual and automatic).

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience planning and performing QA tests
  • Experience with QA methodologies and documentation
  • Experience with Agile methodology – a big advantage
  • Proven previous experience in characterizing and documenting bugs in different systems (Jira is preferred)

Candidate will work onsite at IDF military bases located in the south of the country

Requirements
  • Proven previous experience as a trainer or command
